Personal Experience & Biography
I am a Master’s level MA practicum student in Counselling Psychology. I am qualified to practice under the clinical supervision of an approved Supervisor. My decision to pursue a career as a therapist, stems from a strong belief in the power of helping others on their healing journey.
Are you struggling with relationships? Maybe feeling overwhelmed, stuck, experiencing burnout? Perhaps you’re unsure of what to do next, or just need someone to talk to? No matter the reason that led you here, you are not alone. Life can be challenging, but I’m here to help! I strive to provide support and empower clients to tackle life’s challenges so they may be the best versions of themselves. I cultivate a safe, non-judgmental, compassionate, and therapeutic space to foster growth, understanding, and self-expression.
I believe in holistic and eclectic approaches to healing, utilizing practical tools from various therapeutic modalities and evidence-based methods, such as emotion-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness approaches to provide effective care.
All experiences are different, and I strongly believe in providing services that are uniquely tailored to the individual. Together we can work on your approach to building skills, encouraging resilience, achieving goals, and navigating life’s many obstacles. Reaching out takes courage, and I would be honoured to support you through your journey. To take your first step, I encourage you to contact me for a free 15-minute consultation.
Please note that in many cases, client referrals are appointed to counsellors or practicum students based on expertise, availability, etc. These decisions are often made at the discretion of the practicum site and a direct referral to me may not be guaranteed.
