Personal Experience & Biography
I am currently a Masters level MA in Counselling Psychology practicum student practicing under the clinical supervision of an approved Supervisor. For the past decade, I’ve been committed to mental health care in both professional and volunteer roles. I specialize in supporting individuals with depression, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, stress, anger management, and have worked extensively with individuals who are neurodivergent.
I believe healing happens in a safe, compassionate space – one where clients feel seen, heard, and supported, and I work collaboratively to create this space. My therapeutic style is integrative and person-centered while pulling from other approaches such as existential, solution-focused, and cognitive-behaviour therapies to tailor therapy to your unique needs.
I understand how difficult it can be to reach out. You may feel overwhelmed, uncertain, stuck, or isolated with your mental health concerns, but you don’t have to face them alone. I hope to build a space with you to explore your goals and challenges, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward growth. Whether you’re facing a specific challenge or seeking deeper self-understanding, I am here to walk alongside you with empathy and care. If you’re interested in beginning your journey with me, I invite you to reach out for a free consultation.
Please note that in many cases, Counsellors and Practicum Students are assigned to clients based on expertise, availability, and other factors important to the client. These decisions are often made at the discretion of the practicum site, so a direct referral to me may not be guaranteed.
