Personal Experience & Biography

Hello, my name is Jassi Mundi, and I am the founder of Evolution Psychotherapy. As a registered psychotherapist with the CRPO, I am committed to helping individuals overcome their mental health challenges and achieve a greater sense of well-being.

I completed my Master’s in Counseling Psychology through Yorkville University and my undergraduate degree in Psychology with Honours through York University. Additionally, I have taken specialized educational opportunities to enhance my skills in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Youth Mental Health Specialist Certification Training.

Prior to entering the field of psychotherapy, I worked in the private sector. However, after discovering my passion for helping others, I decided to pursue a career in psychotherapy. I have always been dedicated to giving back to my community, and I volunteer as a mentor to victims of domestic violence with Catholic Family Services of Peel Dufferin to provide support to families in need.

My passion lies in working with individuals who are struggling with ADHD and trauma. As someone who has ADHD myself and is raising two children with ADHD, I have first-hand experience with the challenges that come with this condition.

Additionally, I have gone through various traumas myself and have overcome anxiety and depression through working on my own mental health. I specialize in helping individuals with anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem, career and life transitions, and trauma and PTSD.

I have recently completed my certification in Attachment Focused Trauma processing, which will allow me to better assist those who are struggling with current or past trauma and PTSD, particularly  First responders.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my children, playing sports, interior design, and arts and crafts.

If you feel that I could be of assistance to you, please don’t hesitate to connect with me.
