Personal Experience & Biography
My name is Julia, and I am in the process of completing a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I specialize in working with individuals and couples, focusing on areas such as anxiety (including generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and health anxiety), depression, intimacy/sex, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and relationship challenges.
I draw on a blend of modalities tailored to meet the unique needs of my clients. These include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and the Gottman Method for relationship counselling. My approach is compassionate and client-focused, prioritizing the creation of a safe and supportive environment for growth and healing.
I know that starting therapy can feel intimidating, and it’s not always easy to open up about deeply personal struggles. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, rebuilding trust in your relationships, or seeking greater self-understanding, I am here to support you on your journey. Growth and healing are not linear processes, but with the right tools and guidance, they are achievable.
